In my dream, alone on flat water yet the wind is blowing. Drifting further out to the horizon, the light becomes so bright it floods the eyes, washing out vision until all fades to white.

The backstory to this album (the Dyatlov incident in Russia in 1959) is fascinating. The music succeeds at creating a mood of mystery, but leaves the story to the listener's imagination. This album expects a lot from the listener, as long sections have wind noise and not much variation. But I keep coming back to it and listening again. It just works! mudshrimpmoe
